Golf Update

Saturday 19 November was our Stableford competition. Congratulations to Allan Harvey winning with a great 40 points, Zac Lohman with 38 points and Charles Tarbey with 36 points.

Our Medal and Stroke was played on 26 November with Allan Harvey winning the day with a score of 86, followed by Gordon Thomson on 97 and Suzanne Greer with a 107.

The following weekend, 3 December,we had our Stableford competition Congratulations to Allan Harvey winning with 37 points, Ian Thomas following with 35 points and David Purll with 34 points. A great field hit the course that weekend, with over 20 members and visitors playing in the comp. 

With the sun shining on Saturday 10 December, our Par round was closely contested except for the winner, Phil Gane, with +1, beating Christopher Malivanek on a count back and Ronald Bower with 0. 

In our Stableford competition on 17 December, Allan Harvey won with 33 points, followed by Gordon Thomson with 32 points and Ronald Bower with 30 points.

Christmas Eve saw another Stableford competition. Congratulations to Ronnie Touma, winning with a great 41 points, followed by Allan Harvey with 39 points and Gordon Thomson with 37 points.

Our next Stableford competition was played on one of the hottest days in the valley, 26 December. A small group ventured out, Robbie McDonnell winning with 37 points, Tracey Basman with 35 points beating Scott Grant on a count back. 

Our next competition was our Medal and Stroke on New Year’s Eve, when a great field hit the course. Congratulations to Phil Gane with a score of 68, followed by Ronnie Touma with 69, beating Allan Harvey on a count back. 

7 January saw our first round for 2023. Happy New year everyone. This was a Par competition, with Stephen Atkins winning the day with +2, followed by Craig Riethmuller with +1, and Charles Tarbey with -1. 

Saturday 14 January was our Stableford competition. Congratulations to Tracey Basman, winning with a great 44 points, David Molley with 38 points, beating Ian Thomas on count back. 

Our course is in fantastic shape after all the rain, and the greens are the best I have seen for some year, so come and play on this fantastic course with us.
