Adam Rigney certainly brought his ‘A-game’ to the final of the Club Singles Championship against Nathan Bezant on 21 September. Adam took a commanding lead in the first half of the match, leading by an unbelievable 20 points to 1. Thereafter, Nathan’s game improved but on the day he was no match for Adam, who won the match by 31 points to 12. Congratulations Adam on a tremendous victory in winning the Club Singles Championship. I should also mention that Adam has competed in the past four finals of the Club Singles at Berry and won it three times – an extraordinary achievement.
On 17 September Berry played Shoalhaven Heads at Shoalhaven Heads. Berry won only one of the three games and lost the overall score to give Shoalhaven Heads the victory by 9 points to1. Unfortunately, it didn’t get any better when Berry played Nowra at Nowra on 24 September. Nowra won all three games and earned all 10 points,
