Championships

Adam took a commanding lead in the first half of the match, leading by an unbelievable 20 points to 1. Social Bowls

The ongoing rain once again played havoc with Social Bowls. The following are the results of social bowls matches played since my last report:

14 September – Keith Pepper, Col Agar and Bob Dunn defeated Derek Raymond, Darryl Goodger and Bill Chittick 32 points to 10. Peter Haddon and Rob Folkard defeated Ron Nelson and ‘Jingles’ Chittick 25 points to 20. ‘Tige’ Lidbetter on 13 points won a game of ‘cut-throat’ against Terry Hayes on 10 points and Mark Power on 12 points.

21 September – Jingles Chittick and Tige Lidbetter defeated Laurie Watson and Terry Hayes 25 points to 18. Darryl Goodger and Rob Folkard defeated Peter Haddon and Bob Dunn 32 points to 10. Ron Nelson and Bill Chittick defeated Derek Raymond and Steve Kellet 20 points to 14.
