Beers & BBQ!

The Friendly Inn Kangaroo Valley is hosting the biggest festival of Craft Beer and Barbeque in history! Well, in the history of Kangaroo Valley that is. The Kangaroo Valley Barbeque & Beer Festival is set to go off on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th September. After a Covid postponement in 2021 the festival is back bigger than ever.

The festival showcases over 80 craft beers and ciders to sample over the weekend. There will be loads of Low ’n Slow BBQ caterers. The Australian BBQ Association and Australasian Barbecue Alliance will hold sanctioned BBQ battles – this is serious BBQ business!

The festival will host a live music stage, brewers’ stage, BBQ and butchery demonstrations, eating competitions, helicopter rides, cooking stalls, pig racing, lawn mower racing and kids’ entertainment. The festival is host to not one, but two, distinctly different BBQ competitions, where teams will compete for cash and prizes and audience members can have the thrill of being a judge. A Lord of the Grill Saturday judge pass or King of the Valley Sunday judge pass guarantees you a finger-licking good time tasting the very best BBQ Australia has to offer.

There are so many opportunities for festival cheer over the weekend that you are sure to have yourself an awesome, legendary weekend. A weekend that only the friendly staff and our famous beer garden can deliver.

Kids under 12 are free and a one day adult pass is $25. There are discounts for concessions juniors, seniors, and weekend passes. If you really want to make a weekend of it, purchase a judge pass for $45 and eat the weekend away! For more details and to purchase tickets please visit www.kvbbq.com.au.
