{"id":3030,"date":"2023-12-01T09:00:16","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T09:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kangaroovalley.nsw.au\/valleyvoice\/?p=3030"},"modified":"2023-11-20T00:49:51","modified_gmt":"2023-11-20T00:49:51","slug":"cheese-dairy-at-the-kangaroo-valley-show-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kangaroovalley.nsw.au\/valleyvoice\/2023\/12\/01\/cheese-dairy-at-the-kangaroo-valley-show-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Cheese &#038; Dairy at the Kangaroo Valley Show 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Valley Cheesemakers is all about sharing our love of cheese and showing others how easy it is to make your own cheese at home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We encourage entries at the annual Kangaroo Valley Show where we have an open judging process, so you get to see all of the products made by other amateur cheesemakers, and hear what makes each cheese so different.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our regular cheese judge is unable to join us in 2024; however we have the amazing Cressida Cains from Pecora Dairy joining us as our guest judge. Given that Cressida and her husband Michael run a 200-acre sheep farm in Robertson, and produce award-winning sheep milk cheeses, we can safely say that we are honoured to have Cressida join us to give her feedback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, whether you are just starting out or have been making your own cheese and dairy products for a while, we want your entries so we can impress Cressida with the wide range of products produced in and around Kangaroo Valley.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judging will take place on Saturday 17 February 2024 from 9am in the Kangaroo Valley Hall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Cheese and Wine Tasting<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our regular Cheese and Wine Tasting event will be a little different in 2024.
