Come on down and buy a ticket or two for your chance to win our wheelbarrow hamper. It is a great night, and we look forward to seeing you there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The table tennis continues Wednesdays between 3pm and 5pm and it is open to all residents of Kangaroo Valley. You do not need experience to become involved. We have a fun time and look forward to seeing more people come along.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We would like to acknowledge and thank the three outlets that have stocked our Christmas cakes and puddings for several years now &#8211; these being the Red Shed, the General Store and the Post Office. They also have the Emergency Medical Information Book (EMIB) on sale alongside the cakes and puddings.\u00a0 The new EMIB is designed to fit a standard wallet or pocket so that it can be always carried. It contains vital information that a first responder or your next of kin may need to know in an emergency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, a reminder that your local Lions collect glasses and postage stamps. With all your Christmas mail it is a good way to help us add to our contribution to the cause. Lions Clubs across Australia are celebrating a record year of stamp collecting with over 400kg of stamps raising $60,000 to support children with cerebral palsy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volunteers across the country collect stamps in their community as part of the Lions Clubs International Stamp Club. All stamps are then sold and 100% of funds raised are provided to the Australian Lions Children\u2019s Mobility Foundation which provides mobility devices to children with cerebral palsy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The foundation works closely with physiotherapists and medical professionals to identify what device is best for each child.
