The KV Craft Beer & BBQ festival drew crowds of over 4,000 to KV. The visitors helped give our local businesses a big boost after a more the rough few months. The festival is not just about a good time, it is also a chance for The Friendly Inn to help our local community groups and charities fundraise while there are big crowds in town. We had the pleasure of handing out the jumbo cheques to those who chipped in over the weekend and helped raise over $30,000 worth of donations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The money raised, and indeed the whole festival, could not happen without the generosity of our sponsors Shoalhaven City Council, McGoldrick Estate Agents, V & C Foods, Kangaroo Valley Chamber of Tourism & Commerce, 4 Pines Brewing Company, Power FM & Country Motor Company, KV Olives, Surf Electrical, PJW Carpentry, Roberts Constructions, Seacliff Sands, ECM Livestock, Beaumont Beef, Merchants Rural Contracting, Pace Family Turkey Farm, BT Kenny and Derek Roberts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The KV Community Garden has was given a $1700 to help with the cost of construction of a new enclosed vegetable garden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peter Thompson, owner The Friendly Inn, Gav & Lynne Robinson, Bomaderry Tigers Junior AFL received the cheque from Caroline Lenati Licensee of the Friendly Inn.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/i>We would like to thank you all for your support both large and small that have helped us improve our Community Garden for everyone\u2019s enjoyment. It was lovely to see families enjoying the garden with picnics and gatherings during the Craft and Beer Festival\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Victor Chang foundation received a $10,000 presented to our local GP Dr Keir.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kangaroo Valley Show received $4300 proudly represented by Smart, Sharman and Wilson<\/span><\/p>\n

Bomaderry Tigers Junior AFL Club, represented by Lynne & Gav Robinson, received $5,000 from the proceeds of the Kangaroo Valley Craft Beer & BBQ Festival 2022.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
