Members qualified in this certificate can wear the RFS-issued breathing apparatus to use at structure and car fires. With the toxic environment created by these incidents, it is a welcome piece of equipment to prevent smoke inhalation and exposure to smoke and chemicals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New fire danger ratings are being rolled out by the RFS and NSW state government. This will simplify the ratings from six conditions to four.
