Exhibition a success in spite of the cold

People said to me, no one will come out in the winter to see an exhibition. Well, they did. My Exhibition ‘My Light on Trees’ went really well. Belinda Webster opened it, late Friday, to a group of 40-50 people, many of whom hadn’t caught up with each other for months or even years. They loved the exhibition, purchased pictures, danced to the Blundstone Bettys, drank wine, and enjoyed the gathering. It was quite a party.

Then people kept arriving all day Saturday and even right until closing at 2.30pm on Sunday. Most visitors were locals and enjoyed being able to attend a local event.

Thank you to David and Sue Prescott for generously hosting the event, Belinda for kindly opening it, and my partner Bev, Kathy and Simon Harrington, Trish Livesey and Robert Farnham, friends and family who helped make it happen. And a big thanks to all the people who came, enjoyed the show, purchased photos and made it a special weekend.
