A new flag for our museum

The Australian flag which flies at the entrance to the Kangaroo Valley Pioneer Village Museum proved no match for the extreme weather events suffered by the Valley in recent times. So, on 1 February Fiona Phillips MP visited the museum to present us with a new flag.

Pictured with her are (L-R) Garth Chittick, President of the Kangaroo Valley Historical Society, Patrice Caron, museum caretaker, and Graham Smith, Chairman of the Land Managers who operate the museum on behalf of the NSW Crown Lands Department.

After the presentation Patrice took Ms. Phillips on a tour of the museum. She had never previously visited it, and appeared to be duly impressed.
