You still have a couple of weeks to get your photos ready for the Show.
There are some good prizes to be won in the Photography Exhibition at the Show this year. But we don’t all expect to win first prize. We need lots of entries to make the exhibition worthy of a visit. The handsome stands and lighting that we use, make even ordinary photos look wonderful, and most of the photos I see are not ordinary.
I see amazing photos on Facebook of sunrises and sunsets, flowers, animals, scenes around Kangaroo Valley. Print up a couple of these photos and bring them along to the Hall on Wednesday afternoon 15 February. All photos will be hung.
It is best to print them large if you can – around A4, (or 10” x 8”) if you can. You can print larger – maximum size, including the mount, is 41cm x 51cm. Officeworks or Harvey Norman do printing if you don’t have a printer. They need to be mounted on firm cardboard or mounted with a matte. Check the KV Show website for details, or call the stewards if you need some help.
