Recovering the Rock-Wallaby

Kangaroo Valley’s endangered rock-wallabies are on the road to recovery, thanks to a new Recovery Strategy recently launched by the Valley’s conservation charity, the Friends of the Brush-Tailed Rock-Wallaby.

The three-phase strategy aims to build a thriving meta population of rock-wallabies across the Shoalhaven so that the Kangaroo Valley rock-wallabies are no longer isolated…

The Friends of the Brush-Tailed Rock Wallaby are hoping that more KV locals who care about wildlife will join their Education & Community Awareness Team and get involved with the recovery effort.
