Kangaroo Valley VIEW Club was able to finally hold our AGM. We met for lunch at Maddisons and after an enjoyable lunch and a catch-up with our VIEW friends we held the AGM. Lyn Gerstenberg had come from Nowra to run the meeting for us. She thanked the outgoing committee for their perseverance during the trials of the last 12 months. Most of this committee agreed to take on their roles again. Outgoing secretary Margaret Lamb has moved out of the area and resigned from the club. We thank her for all the work she has done for our club over a number of years. Gayle Rudd has picked up the secretary ball and is doing really well getting the meetings organised, among other things. Another long serving committee member, Una Chapman, also retired from the committee. We thank her for her many, many years of service to the club. We will miss her wise counsel at our committee meetings. She will still be a member so we will see her at the lunches.
The committee for 2022 is President: Penny Rose, Vice-President and Delegate Heather Isemonger, Secretary: Gayle Rudd, Treasurer: Deb Folkard, Assistant Treasurer: Irene Dunn, Publicity: Jeannette Dumbrell and Welfare: Tania Roach.
We welcomed two new members, Jenni Mackaway and Irene Dungey.
Our next lunch meeting will be at Maddisons on 10 June.

VIEW (Voice, Interests and Education of Women) is a leading women’s organisation with close to 300 clubs across Australia, all dedicated to supporting children in need with their education through The Smith Family.
