The month of May saw Gerald and Nicole Poelzl from Visions At The Valley Restaurant, at the Kangaroo Valley Club, mark one year in the Valley.
“We thank our patrons for supporting us as we established our business and new lives in Kangaroo Valley.
We enjoy the community atmosphere and the many special things both this club and the town have to offer.” said Nicole.
This past year the club and restaurant have introduced new specials (conditions apply). Happy hour on Wednesday to Fridays gives patrons 20% discount on drinks.
Thursday night is a great night to take the family out for dinner with one free children’s meal free with each paying adult.
Club members can enjoy their meals on Sundays with 15% discount for lunch and dinner!
Gerald, Nicole and their team, offer a variety of meals with friendly, proficient service.
They work with the Kangaroo Valley Club to provide an environment where everyone – locals and visitors to the valley – look forward to coming time and again.
With some of the best views of the valley, the Kangaroo Valley Club is a great place to have a drink and a meal.
Families and large groups are welcome so come and enjoy a game of barefoot bowls or just soak up the beauty of the valley from the balcony.
On Friday May 27, Gerald and his apprentice, Brea Loxton (pictured) attended the Clubs NSW Awards of Excellence Presentation Night at Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre. Accompanied by Club President Michael Mitchell and his wife Dianne and Board Member Ron Burcher and his wife Meral (pictured), Gerald, Nicole and Brea had a terrific night.
Gerald and Brea were finalists in the Club NSW 2011 Chef’s Table Competition.
As one team of only twelve across all of NSW, they were competing against other much bigger clubs.
Though they have not won an award this year, there is always next year!
Gerald, Brea and Nicole congratulate the winning team of the Chef’s Table Awards from Elanora Country Club.
The awards night was a motivating event, giving Gerald, Nicole and the other attendees from our club an opportunity to see so much potential. Gerald is already considering his menu for next year and would very much like to investigate local produce and products.
Gerald and Nicole hope to see you up at the Kangaroo Valley Club some time!
