Valley belles bedazzle boggy Bong Bong

The 2010 Bong Bong Picnic race meeting was under a weather alert cloud for several days leading up to the traditional rendezvous for race-goers and party-goers at the historic Bowral racecourse and the meeting (not the picnic) was in doubt up until 24 hours before the event.
This valley contingent (one of several who attended) still paraded with classic style and panache, notwithstanding rather muddied conditions underfoot and all enjoyed a fine day out with varying success on the punt, but socially everyone had backed a winner.
It was indeed such a pleasant experience that most of the 2010 contingent have already booked for next year.
