Thirsty night singers are a class act
1 Sep 11
Saturday August 20 was a wet and dismal day in the Valley, but in no way was the weather going to dampen the spirits of those who were fortunate enough to enjoy a special concert by the Thirsty night singers.
From the first offering by the male members of the choir to the second encore which was a repeat of the difficult performance piece “Bohemian Rhapsody” the evening was a tour de force and an outstanding delight.
Generously hosted by Mike and Kathy Gorman in their home and in a room of exceptional acoustics, the audience gave the group a standing ovation in response to a completely satisfying performance of the following songs.
The choir will be performing at the Kangaropo Valley Folk Festival in October.
Don’t miss them!
