The House of Nil Dispute Trivia 2011
1 Jul 11
On the last frontier, in the untamed hills of Kangaroo Valley, where the mountains raise up and raise ‘em tough, a house of nil dispute stands.
In the early evn'n breeze, it's doors are a swingin', waitin’ for those folk of the wild, wild west to roll into town.
It's early spring (September 17 in fact) and the biggest shindig of the year is about to commence.
At first all you can hear is the far off sound of stagecoaches rumbl’n, wagon trains rattl'n and spurs a jingl’n.
Then the roar becomes deafen’n as a hundred horses hooves announce the arrival of the good, the bad and the trivial.
Outlaws and lawmen, cowboys and dancing girls, Apache chiefs and pioneering women will all arrive to play their hands…gun-slinging sheriffs and their deputies; trappers, prospectors and gamblers; country singers and card sharks; madams and miners…all will travel the well-trodden paths of the pioneers to try their luck at the annual Kangaroo Valley Public School P&C Trivia night.
And the best little trivia house in this, here territory, will not disappoint.
But remember the judges word is final!
Saloon doors will swing open at 6 pm for the chance at some socializin’ and singin’, some 3 card poker and some fine liquor before the serious business of Trivia begins at 7.00pm sharp.
