They sauntered to centre stage, cool as cucumbers, two wise guys and their dames.
Mack the Knife opened proceedings and then the Trivia began.
The Gangs where all there: Tilly Devine was out to beat her arch nemesis Kate Leith and the Razor gang, while the Untouchables showed they had what it takes.
Penelope Pitstop and the Antihill Mob were unstoppable.
The Flappers struggled at times but where there for the final 
round, and the Titanics were unsinkable.
All in all it was a fair fight.
Second place was decided by a showdown between The God Fathers and Mothers and the Tommy Guns.
The guns came out blazing, but the undisputed Top Guns were the Guys and Molls.
There where thrills and spills as the wheel was spun and prizes won.
Both the silent and live auction (so ably overseen by Mama Morton) saw lots of green ones changing hands. 
With a collective snap of their garters the “Come to Mama's” strutted their stuff and got the joint a jumping and begging for more.
They are three hot tamales.
All in all it was a night to remember.
A phenomenal $20,000 was raised for our very own school, so thank you all for dressing up like gangsters, strutting your stuff and having fun. Most of all, we thank you for your generous support of the children of Kangaroo Valley Public School.
