More awards for Valley tourist operators

Kangaroo Valley starred at this year's Shoalhaven Tourism Awards, with five local entrants reaching the finals, three of which won gold awards and one won silver.
The Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association won in "Specialised Tourism Services", with very positive feedback being received for our initiatives to preserve the natural beauty of the Valley.
Kangaroo Valley Tourist Park won in the "New Tourism Development" category, emphasising their eco-friendly kayak and canoe hire operation.
They also reached the finals in the Tourist and Caravan Park category.
Barrengarry Boutique Farm Cottages won for the second year as "Unique Accommodation" with their charming holiday cottages.
The silver award in this category was won by Oakleigh Properties, for The Dairy at Cavan.
These awards recognise the effort being made by all our tourism operators in promoting the Valley as a special holiday destination and to help support our local economy.
