Healthy Cities Award

The Kangaroo Valley-Remexio Partnership has received a Healthy Cities Award for its contribution towards a healthier, safer, greener, and more caring Illawarra, specifically for organising the "Trek for Timor" to raise funds for East Timor.
Healthy Cities Illawarra is part of a World Health Organisation movement which seeks to improve the health, well-being and environment of the Illawarra. Individuals and all organisations have a vital role to play in creating a healthier place.
The award will be presented on August 4 and more details and photographs should be available then.
