Glengarry boys give their support to the Pioneer Museum Park

1 Oct 11

Saturday, September 17 was a great day!!!!

A contingent of boys and two staff arrived right on 10 am at the gates and began the task of clearing the bushwalking tracks on the Park’s two tracks across the creek from the Museum up to Mossey Gardens.

A smaller group and two particularly brave fellows waded into the pond and cleared out piles of leaves and twigs so that hopefully this summer there won’t be so many mosquitoes about.

The third group carried the rubbish from the pond to the burning pile, picked up all the sticks and leaves they could from the George Walker Suspension Bridge and generally tidied as much of the grounds as they could by 2 pm in the afternoon.

To Ian Boyle and a big thank you for making the Museum Park look spic and span for Chris Allen and his bridal party on the 1st October.
