Cooking up a storm

1 Feb 11

'Flavours of the Valley' held their first classes during the school holidays to a packed program of gastronomic proportions.

n8Launched at the Shoalhaven Food and Wine expo, the Valley's newest attraction has proven popular to locals and tourists alike.

The hands on cooking classes focus on simple flavour filled dishes to encourage recreating and enjoying the taste of Italy at home.

The classes inspired, excited and fed the curiosity of budding young chefs.

The children were able to forage in our vegetable garden for the freshest, healthy ingredients, and then cooked alongside me to prepare exciting, tasty dishes.

n9With a focus on showcasing local produce and flavours, the Italian cooking classes are great fun.

But, it's not all about the kids, we hold delicious adult cooking classes too.

We offer a beautiful private setting and can cater for indulgent corporate, private, and school experiences as well as our regular scheduled classes.

n10Cooking is also about sourcing quality seasonal ingredients to make every recipe a success.

Flavours of the Valley conduct a food and wine trail that will take you on a feast for the senses!

Visiting local producers, the trail allows for sampling and purchasing of the freshest Valley produce.
