Roll up,roll up to the Kangaroo Valley Party of the year! The annual winter dance!
This Junelong weekend in the KV Community Hall is the location for the CIRCUS mayhem of"CIRQUE DE VALLEY".
Thisevent is more than an annual fundraiser for the Kangaroo Valley CommunityPreschool, it is a party for the community.
This event boasts a licensed bar, silent and live auction, demonstrations,displays, hoola hoop competition, best dressed competition and not forgetting ashow bag on arrival.
There will even be a fortune teller and tattooparlour. The successful ‘photo booth' from last years disco will be again afeature and MORE!
Our‘program' for the evening including the auction lists and business directorywill be launched in May and will be available in print and on-line on the
KangarooValley Community website / as well asthe poster, and guide to the night.
This yearthere are no table bookings, as this is a circus complete with the circus rounddance floor, so come as you are or come in a group.
This is afancy dress (of course) so think circus or at the very least think brightcolours! And join in the fun and mayhem of this event
Ticketsare now on sale at the KV Preschool, Kangaroo Valley Woodcrafts (MossVale Road, KV)
and ‘TheCake Store' Kinghorne St,Nowra. At the Nowra location, bus tickets for the bus are available for $5return.
The buswill leave the Stuart Place Bus Station at 6pm and will make 4 scheduled stopsand will return you all home to the Bus Station.

KangarooValley Preschool Inc is a non-profit community preschool serving the communityof Kangaroo Valley and nearby localities. In order to stay viable it is necessary tocontinue our fundraising efforts.
Eachyear we hold a major fundraising event, the Winter Dance and this year the theme is Circus!!! It will take place on Saturday 12th June 2010 at the Kangaroo Valleyhall.
Ifyou can come then great, if not, please consider a donation of money or a giftthat can be raffled or auctioned. As a donor to the Winter Dance, apart fromthe pleasure of knowing that you are helping us to provide an essential serviceto the youngest members of our community, as a business you will enjoy realpromotion of your service and products.
This year we aim to havethe prizes and packages of the silent and live auction items prepared by Aprilso that we can promote the businesses over the coming months in the lead up tothe dance. We will be promoting the businesses and naming the packages not forfun but with the business in mind to showcase the wonderful donation andfeature our wonderful KangarooValley.
What we need is prizes!And I know it is always our wonderful small businesses that come to our rescue,and get hammered by us every year for fundraising, but if you are able to help,we greatly appreciate it. Thiswill be an event for 250 people from across the region including Sydney and Wollongong.We will be using the media (not just our wonderful Valley Voice) and will bepounding the pavement for our businesses.
KangarooValley Preschool is registered with the Department of Fair Trading as a charity(CFN 16245), the Office of Charities (Department of Gaming) and have authorityto fundraise, and we are also registered with the ATO as a tax deductible giftrecipient.
