Ballet lovers should be delighted with the Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society evening lecture on Thursday September 23.
Ms Sarah Lenton from the UK will describe the founding of the Royal Ballet at the Old Vic and Sadler's Wells, its transferral to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the establishment of its unique style under the aegis of Ninette de Valois, Margot Fonteyn, Frederick Ashton, Robert Helpman, Constant Lambert, Merle Park and Kenneth Macmillan.
Visitors do not need to book and are always welcome to ADFAS.
Just pay $20 at the door for an enjoyable, informative evening and a light supper in the Berry School of Arts at 7.30 pm.
