Brotherly brilliance: Guitar duo Grigoryan Brothers play Riversdale

Father's Day this year presents a Grigoryan Brothersunique opportunity to hear the famous guitar duo, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan, at Bundanon's Riversdale sound shell overlooking the Shoalhaven River.

Treat the family to some breathtaking views, a glass of wine or other light refreshments while the internationally acclaimed Australian guitarists play music from their recently released album Distance for the first time at Riversdale on Sunday 5 September from 2pm.

Growing up in a musical family - Edward and Irina Grigoryan perform on the new album alongside their gifted sons - the elder brother Slava was born in Kazakhstan, and emigrated with his family to Australia aged five.

Since their first acclaimed Australian national tour in 2002, the Grigoryan brothers performances have astounded audiences world-wide. In particular live audiences have experienced the Grigoryan brothers' virtuoso playing from a variety of genres - classical, Latin and jazz - as well as their sheer joy when improvising.

Riversdale is the original property purchased by Arthur and Yvonne Boyd on the Shoalhaven River which is now part of Bundanon Trust's land holding of 1,100 hectares. Riversdale is the site of the Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre, an international award winning design by Glenn Murcutt, Wendy Lewin and Reg Lark. From concerts to interactive performances and family days there is always something happening at Riversdale.
