Buster Keaton silent movie night

15 Aug 2009

On Saturday August 15, marvellous pianist Robert Constable returns to play for yet another Buster Keaton silent movie night.

This Kangaroo Valley institution began in 2003, making the next one the seventh on the trot.

The program for this fun-filled family show includes the hilarious "Neighbours" (1920) and "The Navigator" (1924).

Again, Robert is generously donating his services in order to support KVRP's work in East Timor.

The previous night Robert will play for the first Buster Keaton silent movie night in Kangaloon.

In October he will play for the Sydney Silent Movie Festival, doing Keaton's "The General" (which he's also doing in Kangaloon) and Fritz Lang's "Destiny".

Profits from these events will go towards KVRP's lighting and education projects in East Timor. Tickets are available from the Kangaroo Valley Grocery. For more information, call Martin Wesley-Smith (4465 1299) or email him (martin@wesley-smith.info).
