Saturday 26 Sept we tackle a new site.
Mostly lantana at 163 Wattamolla Rd. Ann Dynan has lived on this beautiful site beneath Broughton Head since 1976, in recent years lantana has gotten away. Please bring the usual gear, Ann is promising a fine afternoon tea in her wonderful garden.
2.30pm to 4.30pm followed by drinks...
Privet is starting to flower. We have this scourge on the run. Most of the really large trees and many of the thickets have been all but eliminated. Please be alert to the smell [I find it abhorrent] or the white flowers. Please email me if you notice an infestation. We can not promise to eliminate, but will do our best.
August working bee was grand. 20+ adults worked hard in the 'Brinwat Gully' [aka Schoolhouse Lagoon] this wonderful site has been nurtured over the past 5 years and is showing all the bio-diverse signs of this care.
