February 2011 - Kangaroo Valley Tennis Club
At its November meeting, the Executive Committee of the Kangaroo Valley Tennis Club unanimously passed a resolution to declare John George a Life Member of the club.
John has been a valued committee member and backbone of the court maintenance effort for many years.
He has always been ready to put in the hours whether on working bees or dispersing the wind-blown debris with his blower. John has been a great help guiding executive decisions with frank and assured advice – even occasional tact and sensitivity.
Though retired from the committee, John continues to help with looking after the courts. May he continue enjoying a good game of tennis for years to come.
